04 // About

Hi, I’m Mohammad.

I’m a UI/UX and product designer from Amman, studying Software Engineering at Applied Science Private University (graduating 2027). I like turning messy, real problems into products that feel obvious to use, from the first interview to a high-fidelity, prototype-ready design.

Because I also write code, I design with the build in mind: components, states, edge cases and handoff notes developers can trust. I care about accessibility, and about Arabic interfaces that feel native, not translated.

I placed second in the ASU UI/UX Contest V5, earned a Dean’s certificate in Contest V6, completed a 150-hour UI/UX bootcamp, and redesigned a classifieds marketplace for a freelance client. I’m looking for a product team where I can ship real work and keep learning.

  • Looking for a junior UI/UX or product design role, an internship, or freelance work.
  • Writing on the blog about what each project teaches me.

What I care about

  1. Research before pixelsI dig past the request to find the real user and business problem.
  2. Design for users and developersStudying Software Engineering means I design components, states and constraints that can be built.
  3. Accessible by defaultContrast, tap targets, focus, empty and error states are part of the design, not an afterthought.
  4. Arabic-first when it mattersNative right-to-left thinking, not mirrored English.

Moments from the process

How I work, one stage at a time, starring my 3D self.

  • 01 · DiscoverGetting curious firstEvery project starts with research: surveys, interviews, desk research or competitor audits, as the project allows.
  • 02 · DefineCollecting referencesStudying how others solved the same problem, from Duolingo to local loyalty apps, before deciding mine.
  • 03 · StructureBlueprints before colourFlows, site maps and grayscale wireframes, so the structure is right before styling.
  • 04 · DesignLate nights in FigmaDesign systems, variants and high-fidelity screens, checked for contrast before anything ships.
  • 05 · ValidatePresenting the whyFrom the Contest V5 jury to my June 2025 talk, I explain the reasoning behind every screen.
  • AlwaysLearning every dayA 150-hour bootcamp, UX laws and books, and sharing notes like my Arabic UX laws guide.

Questions recruiters ask

Where are you based, and can you work remotely?

Amman, Jordan. I’m open to on-site, hybrid or remote work.

What kind of role are you looking for?

A junior UI/UX or product designer role, an internship, or freelance projects.

Which languages do you design in?

English and Arabic, including right-to-left layouts. Arabic is my native language; my English is intermediate, written and spoken.

Can you work with developers?

Yes. I study Software Engineering and write HTML, CSS and JavaScript, so I design components and states that can be built, and I hand off clearly. I built this website myself.

Which tools do you use?

Figma and FigJam for design and prototyping, Google Forms for surveys, and AI tools for quick drafts, never for final decisions.

How do I get your CV?

Download it as PDF or Word from the CV page. Both are single-column files that applicant tracking systems read correctly.
